For the past 16 years, the Student Welfare Outreach Team (SWOT), consisting of student volunteers from the University of Melbourne, have provided a charitable VCE revision program for Year 12 students from schools under-represented at our university.

The week-long program runs from Monday 30 September to Friday 4 October at the University of Melbourne, Parkville Campus. The subjects offered this year are English, Biology, Business Management, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Health and Human Development, Mathematical Methods, Physics and Psychology.

Each subject is $5.00 and will run over a single day (8:45am to 4:15pm). Furthermore, a mental health lecture will run each day, providing additional tips and strategies to deal with exam related stress.

Each year, we receive highly positive feedback from our students. We urge you to encourage your students to take advantage of this program, by spreading the word via announcements in assemblies, home group meetings, newsletters and other similar avenues. This is a fantastic opportunity to receive guidance from many of the state’s top VCE graduates without the high fees charged by some commercial providers.

For more information about our program please refer to the ‘SWOT Kit’ available from Mrs Cabble. Sign up at go.unimelb.edu.au/3vin Applications are due by Thursday 12 September 11:59pm.
